Two WWE Stars Legitimate Backstage Heat, Planned Match Update WWE

An interesting WWE update has emerged on Drew McIntyre and LA Knight following legitimate backstage heat following Royal Rumble.

McIntyre made headlines after the Rumble for reportedly voicing his frustration backstage after there were some issues with his elimination.

It emerged that McIntyre and other talents in the men’s Royal Rumble match had issues with several timing problems from LA Knight.

This allegedly caused McIntyre’s elimination by Damian Priest to come off as underwhelming considering it was supposed to kick off a WrestleMania feud between the two.

McIntyre was said to be “screaming” and “angry” backstage afterwards, with WWE getting in contact with him after the fact.

WrestleVotes now reports that McIntyre and LA Knight will both compete in the same three-way match on SmackDown, with Jimmy Uso set to join them in what is planned to be the main event of Friday’s show (February 7).

Per WrestleVotes on Twitter:

Drew McIntyre vs LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso.

We will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available.
