WWE Backstage Reaction To John Cena Raw Heel Promo

The WWE backstage reaction to John Cena’s heel promo on Monday Night Raw has now been revealed.

In what ranked as one of WWE’s most anticipated promo segments in recent memory, John Cena opened tonight’s WWE Raw in Brussels, Belgium and delivered his first heel promo since 2003.

The reaction to Cena’s promo inside the Forest National was vociferous, with chants of “f**k you Cena”, shut the f**k up” and even Cena’s a f**king b**ch”.

Now, following WWE Raw, Fightful Select has revealed the backstage reaction to Cena’s hostile response in the opening segment of the show.

According to the report WWE were “ecstatic” with the reception Cena got from the fans in Brussels.

One source told Fightful that the crowd was the “hottest TV environment they’ve experienced”, something that may bode well for the city hosting another TV taping in the future.
