WWE Backstage Viewership Sees Major Increase

WWE Backstage Viewership Sees Major Increase

After only drawing 49,000 viewers last week, WWE Backstage bounced back in week two.  Adam Cole had been announced as a major guest ahead of time.

Seems like people were excited to see him as the big guest, as Backstage doubled its viewership.  Last night’s show drew 100,000 viewers.

While that is a huge jump, it’s still a fairly low number.  Of course, the major news from last night’s show was the appearance of CM Punk.

Punk has signed a contract with FOX to be a contributor and analyst for the show.  How will his being on the show impact viewers?

You’d have to think next week will see a big bump with so many fans clamoring to see him for so many years.  Although, a lot of fans have already turned on him for coming back to WWE.

A lot of folks wanted to see go to AEW to stick it to WWE.  It seems it wasn’t completely of the table as CM Punk reportedly met with Tony Khan prior to signing with WWE.

It seems wrestlers are excited about having him back and would love to get the rub off his popularity.  Many, including Seth Rollins, were already challenging him to fights.

There’s only one thing to say…CM Punk return confirmed!!!
