The reason for an earlier start time for the next premium live event WWE Bad Blood on October 5, 2024 has now been revealed.
In a new report from PWInsider, there is a backstage explanation as to why the next premium live event will be starting at a bit of an odd time for WWE stateside shows.
While the International PLEs commonly have an early start time due to the time different, WWE Bad Blood will actually begin at 6pm EST/3pm PST.
According to the report, there is a reason to wrap up WWE Bad Blood earlier in the night on October 5.
UFC 307 is set for the same night but in Salt Lake City with a 10pm EST/7pm EST broadcast time for the Dana White helmed company.
The move is said to be to prevent WWE and UFC (both now owned by shared parent company TKO) from running against one another for the timeslot.
After a 20-year hiatus, the upcoming Bad Blood will be the first time WWE has used the special event moniker since 2004.
WWE Bad Blood will be held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on October 5, 2024, 20 years since the last time the event was held.
The show will also reportedly play host to the return of the Hell in a Cell stipulation.
Cody Rhodes, who himself is from Atlanta, has featured heavily in promotional material for the event.
