Big Return Teased For WWE Bad Blood?

Cody Rhodes has teased an interesting return for this weekend’s WWE Bad Blood premium live event, sharing an intriguing post.

Rhodes will be in action at the October 5 event, teaming with Roman Reigns to face off against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of the Bloodline.

While this match is intriguing enough in itself – with it being Reigns’ first match since dropping the WWE Title to Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 – Rhodes appears to have teased another return for this show.

With the American Nightmare appearing on the Pat McAfee show, Cody Rhodes has now shared a video to Instagram showing an interesting interaction with Pat McAfee.

After taking a photo on the Pat McAfee set, McAfee approached Rhodes in the video to note:

“The big guy is coming back this week.”

Rhodes replied:

“Is he? Which one?”

To which McAfee noted:

“Okay, awesome, you just told me enough.”

One way this could be interpreted is that McAfee was referring to Roman Reigns’ return, and Cody Rhodes’ confusion over which ‘big guy’ they were talking about tipped him off to the fact that another top star is set to return.

Of course, McAfee and Rhodes could both have the same star in mind, and Rhodes’ lack of denial confirmed McAfee’s suspicions.

While this is in no way confirmation that a surprise return is definitely planned for Bad Blood, it’s worth noting that Cody Rhodes shared this video directly to Instagram, meaning he wanted his fans to see this specific interaction.

There are many ‘big guys’ who could return to WWE TV, with fans anticipating the comebacks of the likes of The Rock and Paul Heyman, among other notable names.
