Former WWE Star Opens Up On What Makes Bad Bunny Different WWE

A former WWE star who made a guest appearance at Backlash has opened up on what makes Bad Bunny different to other celebrities.

With Bad Bunny joining Logan Paul in the realm of highly praised celebrities wrestling in WWE, Savio Vega has also weighed in on the subject.

Vega appeared at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico on May 6, joining in the LWO as Bad Bunny sought to defeat Damian Priest.

The former WWE star spoke to Wrestlebinge by Sportskeeda about celebrities in wrestling and Bad Bunny in particular, saying:

“From the whole actors, actresses, singers, whoever tried to come in wrestling, they just come one time, do something simple and get out.

“This kid did two full matches. One in WrestleMania and this one single match against Damian Priest.

“He’s a natural. They take him step by step, all the way to the end, but he has the mentality. He has the power and hunger. He loves it and wants to make it good.”

Vega would note the impact that Priest made in the match, too, stating:

“On the other side, you have Damian Priest taking care of him, carrying him big time.”

He would comment on Bunny’s respect for wrestling, adding:

“You maybe have to adjust here and there, of course, but one of the best things he has is respect for the ring and respect for the boys and the business.”

Vega would conclude by suggesting we could be seeing Bad Bunny at SummerSlam, going on to add:

“They know what they’re going to do, but Bad Bunny hit the ball out of the ballpark.”

While other may praise the likes of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul for their involvement in the WWE, Becky Lynch takes a less positive view of celebrities wrestling.
