WWE Star Teases Teaming With Bad Bunny In Puerto Rico WWE

A top SmackDown star has teased an alliance with rapper Bad Bunny ahead of WWE’s upcoming visit to Puerto Rico.

WWE will host some notable shows in Puerto Rico this May, with the Backlash Premium Live Event set to emanate from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot on May 6.

One day before the event, Friday Night SmackDown will take place in the same arena.

Following confirmation that Bad Bunny will host WWE Backlash, it has been heavily speculated that the Puerto Rican artist will step back into the ring this May.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has now teased teaming with Bad Bunny, taking to Twitter to note that she’d be interested in competing alongside him.

Sharing WWE’s post announcing that tickets for the Puerto Rico events are now on sale, Flair tweeted:

HOLA PUERTO RICO!!!!! 👸🏼 🇵🇷

@sanbenito if you ever need a tag-partner!?!?!? WOOOO!!!!! #SmackDown

Bad Bunny has wrestled in two official matches for WWE, teaming with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37 in 2021 in his in-ring debut.

He returned to the company in January 2022 to compete in that year’s Royal Rumble contest.

Flair may not be the SmackDown Women’s Champion by the time Backlash rolls around, with Flair slated to defend her gold against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 in April.
