A WWE NXT star has reacted to the announcement that he has been banned from this weekend’s NXT Heatwave premium live event.
Since the debut of Ethan Page, and the reveal that it was Page who previously attacked and injured Noam Dar, Oro Mensah has ambushed the former AEW star on a number of occasions.
Not only did Mensah bring the fight to Page after NXT Battleground, he has also attacked him on several episodes of NXT TV.
NXT GM Ava’s assistants Robert Stone and Stevie Turner officially informed Mensah that he would be banned from the upcoming Heatwave premium live event during Tuesday’s (July 2) NXT episode.
Mensah has now taken to Twitter to laugh at this decision, writing:
Banned from #NXTHeatwave 😂😂😂😂😂
This decision was made in storyline to avoid Ethan Page being attacked by the Meta Four member ahead of his important title match.
Page will face Je’Von Evans, Shawn Spears and Trick Williams in a Fatal Four Way for the NXT Championship at this Sunday’s show.
