A former WWE champion has reflected on their NXT tag team and shared a hope as to where it could lead someday.

Baron Corbin became a free agent in early 2025 after his WWE contract was not renewed, heading to the independent scene under the name Bishop Dyer.

With part of 2024 spent in NXT, Corbin teamed with Bron Breakker, with the pair going on to become the brand’s Tag Team Champions.

In a recent post on Twitter, the real-life Tom Pestock responded to a post stating that Corbin and Breakker were “an incredible tag team”, posting:

“If only we could have taken it to Raw or SD.”

A fan would comment that a match between the ‘Wolf Dogs’ and Motor City Machine Guns would have been special, with Pestock responding:

“Maybe someday”

Breakker is currently a member of The Vision and was recently sidelined through injury, with a recent report noting he (and Seth Rollins) were “rehabbing their asses off” for an in-ring return.

While Breakker is yet to make his return to WWE television, Rollins has made his comeback, targeting The Vision at Elimination Chamber on February 28.

The former Baron Corbin has recently shared his belief that WWE should use newer stars ahead of WrestleMania 42.
