Former WWE star Tom Pestock, formerly known a Baron Corbin, has shared a new message ahead of his return to the ring.
News first emerged in November 2024 that WWE had opted to not renew Pestock’s deal, ending his twelve year stint with the company.
The former ‘Baron Corbin’ will wrestle in his first match since his departure on Sunday (January 19) at GCW’s The People Vs GCW show.
Pestock will face off against Josh Barnett in a Bloodsport match at this event.
The former WWE US Champion has now taken to Twitter to share a photo from his plane seat, ahead of arriving in New York City.
Pestock captioned the photo:
Headed to NYC for GCW at the epic Hammerstein Ballroom for a Bloodsport match! Let’s roll! Protect your neck
This will be his first match since the October 18, 2024 WWE SmackDown taping, when he defeated Giovanni Vinci in a non-televised dark match.
‘Baron Corbin’ last wrestled on WWE TV on the August 30 show, teaming with Apollo Crews in a losing effort against Angel & Berto.
