Former WWE star Baron Corbin is set for his first match since departing the company in 2024 after he has become a free agent on January 1.
The first match outside of WWE has been confirmed for the former Baron Corbin, now using his real name Tom Pestock in his Bloodsport debut.
Taking to social media to share the news, GCW made the announcement, writing:
BREAKING – TOM PESTOCK makes his GCW Debut taking on JOSH BARNETT in a BLOODSPORT Match this Sunday at #ThePeopleVsGCW!
Pestock is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist & Golden Gloves Champion entering Bloodsport for the 1st time.
In early November, Tom Pestock (fka Baron Corbin) announced that his 12-year stint with WWE had come to an end after the company elected not to extend his contract.
Pestock recently confirmed on January 1 that he had officially become a free agent and was looking for a swath of opportunities to create, including horror films.
The GCW event featuring Pestock in action, The People Vs. GCW, is scheduled for Sunday, January 19 from New York City’s famed Hammerstein Ballroom.
