Former WWE Star Interested In Joining John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament WWE

With John Cena’s in-ring career coming to an end soon, a former WWE star has shared that they hope to be in the Last Time Is Now Tournament.

The tournament to choose the final opponent for John Cena at next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event is currently underway.

Only a month remains until John Cena’s Final Match, with the former Baron Corbin sharing his hope that he could be a participant in the tournament.

Speaking on Busted Open, Bishop Dyer shared his pitch for his involvement in the tournament, noting his history with Cena and what he’d like to achieve, saying:

“I had a little, like, spark in my heart, going man, how cool would it be if I was the guy who didn’t work there right now who was in the tournament?

“Just the opportunity to go into it. And, John and I have a ton of history, you know. From him costing me the Money in the Bank briefcase to our match at SummerSlam.

“We’ve wrestled a billion times and promos against each other, there’s already history. That would be coolest thing ever if I was one of the guys who doesn’t work there right now that got the call to be part of the tournament.

“Not to win the tournament. Let me go fight GUNTHER because I’ve never been in the ring with him and I think it’d be a helluva brawl. We could kick the living s**t out of each other. It would be so fun.”
