Former WWE Star Wins Double Gold In Martial Arts Competition WWE

The former WWE star Baron Corbin has taken double gold at the Pan IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship which is currently underway in Florida.

The real-life Tom Pestock competed in the two separate Master 3 categories on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Representing R1ng BJJ, Pestock would take gold ahead of Andrew Anderson, Brian Whiston and Christopher Daetwyler in the Male/Master 3/Purple/Ultra-Heavy category.

He would also compete in the Male/Master 3/Purple/Open Class, taking gold ahead of Chuck Hayden III, Christopher Daetwyler and Roberto Arce.

Pestock, who now wrestles on the independent scene as Bishop Dyer, shared a photo of his victory on Twitter, posting:

“DOUBLE GOLD AT PANS!!! Purple belt has been good to me!!”

The former WWE US Champion would also share a more light-hearted photo, also to Twitter, referencing his recent black eye, writing:

“How’s my black eye now haha! Gold at PANS”

Pestock revealed that he had got his black eye after double-legging his professor this week, sharing photos to Instagram.

The former Baron Corbin parted ways with WWE in January 2025 with his contract not being extended after twelve years with the company.

As can be seen below this news story, the band Downstait has released a tease for Dyer’s new theme tune.
