Ahead of the August 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, a new match has been added to the WWE Bash In Berlin card.
At WWE Clash At The Castle, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn defeated Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
On the August 2 edition of SmackDown, Cargill and Belair defeated Fyre and Dawn via disqualification when Blair Davenport interferes to deliver a 3-on-2 beatdown on the babyfaces.
This led to Naomi getting involved in this rivalry to even the odds, which sets up a trios match on the August 23 episode.
Ahead of Friday’s show, WWE posted a video of SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announcing that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will challenge Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on Saturday, August 31 at Bash In Berlin.
This comes off the heels of Fyre and Dawn successfully defending the titles in a win over Damage CTRL and Pure Fusion Collective on the August 19 edition of Monday Night Raw.
