Bayley Reveals Released WWE Star She Wanted In Damage CTRL WWE

WWE’s Damage CTRL may have had a different line up if Bayley’s ideas had come to fruition, she has recently revealed.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the BT Sport YouTube Channel, WWE’s first Women’s Grand Slamp Champion revealed her plans for the group, saying:

“That is something that I’ve thought about for a couple years before it actually happened.

“I know Dakota has talked about this in her interviews in the past.

“It had a different group of people as the time went on.

“Peyton Royce was someone that I really wanted in there. Tegan Nox was someone that I wanted in there.

“There were a lot of people that it just kind of changed throughout time and as people left the company and things like that, but Dakota was always, she’s one of the OG’s that I always envisioned in this group.”

Peyton Royce was one half of The IIconic with Billie Kay , both of whom started their WWE career in NXT before moving to the main roster.

Both would be released in April 2021 as part of that month’s round of roster cuts.

The duo would appear as The IInspiration in Impact Wrestling and would stay with the company from October 2021 to April 2022 after requesting their immediate release.

They would also announce that they are starting “a new chapter in their lives”.

Tegan Nox would be released from WWE in November 2021, having been drafted to WWE Raw in October of that year and never appearing.

She would return to WWE in December 2022, appearing on WWE SmackDown.
