Bayley has addressed the complicated relationship between WWE’s Four Horsewomen, amid her feud with Becky Lynch on Raw.

With Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) ushering in a new era of women’s wrestling during their time together in NXT, many consider these four stars to be the ones who paved the way for the current era of athleticism in WWE’s women’s division.

Speaking on Raw Recap, Bayley noted that she was never super close with Lynch or Flair behind the scenes.

Commenting on her relationship with the Four Horsewomen, Bayley said:

“I feel it’s a little complicated, it’s a very, like, sisterly, family type situation when it comes to the four of us. If I’m being quite honest, I’ve never really been close to Becky. I’ve never rode to shows together with her, I’ve never been close to Charlotte.

“We never had that relationship of like, ‘Oh let’s go out to dinner after the show.’ It was different, so I can understand where this is coming from, from Becky, because it was never really there. I thought there was some type of unity there though.

“I thought there was some type of like – with the history and everything we had gone through, all the training and all the matches that we’ve had together, and everything that we’ve fought for and stood for in such an important time for women’s wrestling in the WWE.

“To come up and do this together, to bring change in the women’s division, I thought that was a bond strong enough, but apparently not after all these years, she still has some sort of insecurity and something against me that she’s still hanging on to, and that she still has to lash out on.”
