WWE Women’s Champion Bayley has named an AEW star she’d be interested in facing one day.

With the likes of TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace competing at Royal Rumble 2024, and several WWE stars wrestling for other promotions, there has been a lot of speculation about WWE’s next major inter-promotional outing.

Speaking with Bernard Colas of Le10Sport, Bayley noted that she’d love to wrestle Kris Statlander, praising the former AEW TBS Champion’s athleticism.

When asked about dream matches with wrestlers outside of WWE, Bayley noted:

“I really like Kris Statlander. I think she’s just freaking so athletic. She kind of reminds me of like Rhea Ripley.

“You know or like it seems like she can do everything so I’d be interested to get in the ring someday.”

Bayley won the WWE Women’s World Championship from IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40, after finally breaking away from her Damage CTRL faction.

In her most recent televised title defence, Bayley defeated Naomi and Tiffany Stratton at the May 4 Backlash event.
