Following a successful outing on the January 28 episode of WWE NXT, Bayley has her eyes on the future, including her upcoming title match.
The WWE Raw star teamed with the current NXT Women’s Champion to take on the team of Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade.
With Bayley and Giulia victorious in the match, the former NXT Women’s Champion spoke about her next steps in a backstage interview that can be seen below this news story.
Addressing her return to NXT after nearly five years on the main roster, Bayley revealed she was “a little jealous”, saying:
“NXT is my home and I’ve loved to see how much it’s grown but I’ve also been missing it a little bit. A little jealous. There’s a few girls I’ve never been in the ring with, like Cora Jade, like Giulia, so being able to start off the night like that and come out with a win, it feels so good to be back.
“I’m just grateful that they welcome me with open arms here in NXT, at least the Universe does… maybe not Cora Jade and Roxanne (Perez). Those idiots learned the hard way… Ding dong.”

The conversation would then turn to Bayley seeming to have her eye on Giulia’s NXT Women’s Championship, with the former champion going on to say:
“Well, you know, the NXT Women’s Champion was the first championship that I won here in WWE and it really set my career off to dreams that I have never dreamt of before.
“It made me realise my worth, it made me want more for me, it made me want more for the division. It’s hard to not be in the same ring as that championship and not feel something, you know?
“I’ll say there’s a few lingering feelings there and, you know, it just so happens that I get another chance at Vengeance Day.
“Ladies, I’ll see you there and maybe you’ll see me as your new NXT Women’s Champion.”

As announced by NXT GM Ava, Giulia will defend her championship against Bayley and Roxanne Perez in a Triple Threat Match at Vengeance Day on February 15, 2025.
Bayley isn’t the only main roster to have a title match at NXT Vengeance Day with an appearance by A-Town Down Under on last night’s show leading to a Triple Threat Match which will see Oba Femi defend the NXT Championship against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
