WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch has opened up about her experience filming Happy Gilmore 2.
Becky Lynch had a role in the 2025 Netflix comedy Happy Gilmore 2, which also saw AEW’s MJF among its cast.
In a recent interview with ChiefsWire, the WWE star shared her thoughts on the Adam Sandler-led project, saying:
“Oh yeah, it was great. I mean, being on set with so many, just icons, yeah, there are too many, too many to name.
“It was such a great experience seeing how Adam Sandler works, and it’s just been wonderful. I’ve been loving every minute of it.”
The sequel to the 1996 movie would debut at number 1 on Netflix for English-language movies in the summer of 2025, with ChiefsWire also noting it had 46.7 million views in its first three days.
Lynch has recently stepped on the screen outside of WWE once again, appearing as Lieutenant Ya in the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
With WWE Unreal Season Two coming to Netflix, Lynch would also share her thoughts on the behind-the-scenes series.
Becky Lynch defends the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against former champion Maxxine Dupri on tonight’s episode of Raw. having regained the title on January 5.
