Former WWE Champions To Return ‘Very Soon’ WWE

With WWE heading towards WrestleMania 42 in April, an update has emerged on the return of two former champions.

Nikki & Brie Bella have both made their returns to WWE, with the Hall of Famers revealing the stars they want to face in their current run.

The pair last competed in the women’s Royal Rumble match, which also marked Brie Bella’s first in-ring appearance in four years.

Now the plans for the return of The Bella Twins has been revealed, courtesy of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

According to Dave Meltzer, Nikki & Brie Bella are expected to return to WWE television “very soon”.

While a return date wasn’t specified, Nikki Bella recently confirmed that she and Brie Bella will both be at WrestleMania 42, so their imminent return will likely be to set up their plans for the April 18-19 show.

Following her return at the Royal Rumble on January 31 of this year, Brie Bella stated she was back ‘full-time‘.

She has also revealed that her husband and AEW star Bryan Danielson helped her train for her return to the ring.

Nikki Bella made her comeback ahead of her twin sister, enjoying a singles run of her own throughout last year, with the reason for the women’s tag team division return recently revealed.

Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2020, The Bella Twins are former Divas Champions.
