WWE’s Bianca Belair has reacted to her husband Montez Ford winning the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Angelo Dawkins.
The Street Profits challenged for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa’s WWE Tag Team Championship on the March 14 SmackDown episode.
The challengers were ultimately victorious, pinning DIY to win their first championship in four years.
Bianca Belair has now taken to Twitter to sing her husband Montez Ford’s praises.
Sharing a video of the Street Profits’ victory, Belair wrote:
Earned. Deserved. PERIOD.
This just feels so right! #ANDNEW
Belair later noted in another tweet:
My Man is a Champion. @MontezFordWWE
Triple H has now addressed this title change, click here to read more.
This title win marks the first time the Street Profits have won gold since the duo became Raw Tag Team Champions in March 2020.
The duo technically became SmackDown Tag Team Champions in October 2020 following a literal title trade with The New Day to ensure the Raw and SmackDown titles remained on the correct WWE brands following the Street Profits moving to SmackDown and The New Day to Raw.
Ford and Dawkins ultimately dropped the SmackDown Tag Team Championship to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on the January 8, 2021 WWE SmackDown episode.
Bianca Belair will have the chance to earn more gold for her household at WrestleMania 41, when she challenges for IYO SKY’s Women’s World Championship.
