WWE is reportedly considering making a pretty big change to its signing process and developmental contracts involving an initial trial period.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is talk that starting in the new year, it will become the norm for new talent to be signed to 60-day trial contracts.
Their rate of improvement throughout that 60 days will then be analysed to determine whether they should be signed to full-time deals or not.
There will likely be exceptions to this rule if there are any super hot prospects, who would potentially skip the trial period and sign full-time straight away.
