Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has told Big E that he is his dream opponent, sharing a heartfelt message for the popular star.
Big E hasn’t wrestled since suffering a broken neck during his match on the March 11, 2022 edition of SmackDown.
While many fans are hoping for Big E to be healthy enough to return to the ring, Drew McIntyre has now revealed that he’s also hoping for a “big miracle”.
During a signing at Fanatics Fest, Drew McIntyre told Big E to his face that he is his dream opponent.
Shearing a heartfelt message for the New Day member, McIntyre said:
“I have lots of dream matches, but since we’re sitting right here… (looks to Big E next to him)
“All of us are thinking as positively as we can. We’re all hoping for a big piece of news, perhaps a big miracle, we get Big E back in the ring. We had a fun little match, fighting for the world title.
“That was one of my favorite matches, and you got the Big W, so I owe you, buddy. If that was ever to come to pass, that would be a dream match.”
