WWE Star Worryingly Blacks Out Social Media Profiles

WWE Star Worryingly Blacks Out Social Media Profiles WWE

WWE star Mustafa Ali, who has been a fixture on NXT TV as of late, has worryingly blacked out his profiles on Twitter and Instagram.

On this past Tuesday’s NXT, Ali debuted a new version of his character, essentially standing at a podium and campaigning that he’s a leader to American people, specifically looking to chase the NXT North American Championship.

After that segment aired, Ali rebranded his social media with new logos to match his new gimmick.

However, just a couple of days later, his profiles are now blacked out. His posts are still up, but his profile pictures and banners, which he’d only just changed, are now just plain black.

It’s believed that this character switch is actually something that Ali wanted to do on the main roster some time ago, but WWE management never followed through with it.

As we’ve seen with Baron Corbin in particular recently, talents moving to NXT from the main roster seem to have a lot more freedom over the directions they take their characters.

Whether the worrying social media activity is just something he’s doing in-character, or if there’s more to it than that, is unclear at this point.

Ali did “announce” his new profile pic as you can see below, for whatever that’s worth.

You can also see the segment that aired on NXT below this story as well.

We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
