Bloodline Family Member Wins World Championship Of WWE Name’s Wrestling Company

Bloodline family member Zilla Fatu has captured the world championship of WWE commentator Booker T’s wrestling company.

Just over a year since beginning his in-ring career, the son of WWE legend Umaga won his second championship in under three weeks – the Reality of Wrestling World Championship.

Fatu won the title at Reality of Wrestling’s Summer of Champions X event on August 10 from the Walker Texas Lawyer Arena in Texas City.

The moment Fatu captured the title was captured by former WWE, and current TNA Wrestling star AJ Francis, who posted a clip of the closing moments of Fatu’s bout to Twitter – with many other fans also posting images and videos of the moment to social media.

This win comes shortly after Fatu’s first career championship win on July 26, where he captured the HOG Crown Jewel Title at the promotion’s High Intensity event in New York.

Naturally given Fatu’s family lineage, speculation linking him with above to WWE has been following him since he debuted inside a ring last July.

However, the rumors intensified at last week’s SummerSlam event in Cleveland, OH as Fatu was captured in attendance for the event, a day before he missed a scheduled appearance for GCW in New Jersey.

While some suspected this could be related to WWE signing Fatu, a report from Fightful Select would clear up the situation and reveal that Fatu instead missed the date due to travel issues and not due to WWE signing him.

Despite this however, the report did note that WWE “has their eyes on him” – so don’t expect the links to WWE to go anywhere anytime soon, especially if he continues to find success on the indies.
