A pair of stars are potentially set to square off against the WWE Bloodline now that Solo Sikoa’s crew has won tag team gold.
The Street Profits are looking to reclaim their championship status, with the WWE Tag Team Championship currently held by Bloodline members Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga.
In speaking to Sports Illustrated, the Street Profits discussed their next steps including chasing after the tag team titles again.
Montez Ford said:
“Any time you get to call yourself a WWE champion, you know that you are at the top of your profession.
“The chemistry that we have is off the charts, and when, not if, we get ahold of the WWE tag team titles, they will be ours for a long time.”
The article would go on to reference how a potential feud between the Bloodline and the Street Profits could be ‘career altering’ as both teams remain currently drafted to WWE SmackDown.
Fatu and Tonga defeated DIY to win the WWE Tag Team Championship on the August 2 edition of SmackDown.
