A member of WWE’s Bloodline stable is believed to be ‘legitimately injured’ following a recent injury scare.
Coming out of SummerSlam, there was a lot of concern around the status of the Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu, with him seemingly suffering an injury during the Bloodline Rules main event.
Fatu hit Cody with a Splash through the announce table during the bout, before immediately grabbing his ankle, with him being spotted in a walking boot following the show.
Fightful Select reported that Fatu was intended to sell his ankle for the ending of the match, but were not sure to the extent of which he would be selling.
In an update from PWInsider Elite (via Rajah), Fatu was not present backstage at last night’s SmackDown show, with there being a growing belief among WWE talent that he is legitimately injured.
Roman Reigns returned to SmackDown on last night’s show, with him laying waste to Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to close out the night.
We will provide any updates on Fatu’s injury status as they become available.
