A Bloodline family member has opened up about his relationship with WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T.
With Roman Reigns’ Bloodline faction being featured in major storylines since its inception, many people are aware about how influential the Anoa’i/Fatu family dynasty has been in the world of wrestling.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Zilla Fatu stated that Booker T has been like a father to him, revealing how Booker T helped him when he left prison.
Noting that Booker T is ‘tapped in’ with the Samoan wrestling dynasty, Zilla said:
“He is like a pops I never had, you know. When I came home from prison after doing six years, he took me in, you know, and he just guided me in the right direction and made sure I was good. Made sure my mom was good, make sure my brothers was good.
“But Book, you guys don’t know, but Booker he has been tapped in with the Samoan Dynasty for a long time. So Booker’s like a brother to my uncles, my aunties.”
Zilla Fatu’s real father Umaga (Edward Smith Fatu) passed away in December 2009.
Zilla Fatu currently holds the ROW Championship, the main title in Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion.
