WWE Star Makes Bold Statement After Teammate Injury WWE

The New Day is down another member after it was revealed that Kofi Kingston suffered an injury on the July 1 episode of WWE Raw.

The status of Kingston was revealed on the July 8 WWE Raw, with it being noted he would be out for several weeks.

The injury was sustained during Karrion Kross’ attack on the New Day member last week with The Final Testament member sharing his thoughts in a video that can be seen below this news story.

With Kross noting that John Cena’s time is almost up, he would state that it’s time for old guard to die, continuing his verbal assault on Xavier Woods.

Xavier Woods has reacted to Kross’ threats on Twitter, posting:

“Yall heard it. @TrueKofi is gonna be out for a few weeks.

“There’s 5 members in the Final Testament and 1 of me. Time to get to work…”

Kross has spent the past few weeks trying to drive a wedge between Woods and Kingston, going so far as to provide a lengthy case study into the ‘psychopathic’ and ‘narcissistic’ New Day member.

Woods may not have to face Final Testament alone, however, with Baron Corbin putting his name forward by tweeting:

There are, indeed, five members of the Final Testament – Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar and Paul Ellering.

Scarlett’s last match was at a WWE Live event in June 2023 where she lost to Lyra Valkyria while Ellering last wrestled in 1998 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Cena appeared during WWE Money in the Bank to announce that 2025 would be his farewell tour culminating in his retirement.
