A WWE Legend has pitched an in-ring return to Triple H, more than sixteen years since he was released from his contract.
The Boogeyman was a regular feature on WWE television from 2005 until his release in 2009, bringing worm-devouring horror to the masses.
With a one-off appearance during the January 2015 men’s Royal Rumble, The Boogeyman has continued to occasionally perform on the independent circuit, but hasn’t wrestled for WWE since then.
Now, the horror-themed star has teased a potential return to WWE, sharing a video showing his impressive look at part of his workout routine.
The sixty-year-old star shared the video on Twitter, showing his athletic prowess, as can be seen below this news story, along with a message that reads:
“Put me in the game Triple H..#.WWELEGEND BOOGEYMAN”
The Boogeyman announced he signed a WWE Legends deal in 2021. He has made occassional appearances for the company since then.
He last wrestled in March 2024, competing in the Last Stand Rumble match for Booker T’s promotion Reality of Wrestling.
Earlier this year, The Boogeyman teased the possibility of one more run, having made infrequent appearances on WWE television.
