WWE Name Explains Why Sami Zayn Is ‘Money’ Following Elimination Chamber

WWE NXT commentator Booker T has shared his thoughts on Sami Zayn’s position in WWE following his loss at Elimination Chamber.

After turning on the Bloodline at Royal Rumble, Zayn challenged for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at the February 18 premium live event.

Despite having his home-province crowd cheering him on, Zayn was unable to put Roman Reigns away, with the Tribal Chief brutalizing Zayn with a chair following interference from Jey Uso.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T argued that Zayn is in an overall better position now than he was in a few months ago.

Believing that Zayn will he a great champion whenever WWE decides to pull the trigger, Booker T said:

 “That’s what people are going to be saying to Sami Zayn. ‘Man, I really wish you would’ve won that match.’

“It’s something that he’s going to have to deal with for the rest of his career, but Sami Zayn became a star over these last few months.

“He’s definitely put himself in a place to where he’s a made man now, he really is. Sami Zayn is a made man; that dude is money anywhere in the world.”

Zayn has wrestled since his Elimination Chamber loss, defeating Baron Corbin on the February 20 edition of WWE Raw.
