A notable name from the world of boxing has teased her pro-wrestling debut, expressing interest in working with WWE.
Unified featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano is one of the hottest stars in women’s boxing.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso for Sports Illustrated, Serrano noted that she’d love to test herself against the WWE women’s roster.
Commenting on the possibility of wrestling in WWE, Serrano said:
“I’ve always wanted to step into WWE. My nephew’s dream is to become a WWE wrestler, and he’s the one who really got me into this.
“Testing myself in WWE, that’s something I really want to do. I have so much respect for all the pro wrestlers, especially the women on their roster.”
Per the article, Serrano started training for pro-wrestling five years ago.
Serrano currently has a 46-2-1 record in boxing, with 30 knockouts. She’s an athlete for Most Valuable Promotions, a promotion co-founded by Jake Paul, the brother of US Champion Logan Paul.
She will next fight Stevie Morgan on the Jake Paul vs Mike Perry undercard on July 20.
