A WWE star has revealed that they have recently started a new gourmet food company to honor their legendary father.
Braun Strowman revealed the news on a recently podcast appearance, revealing that the company is in honor of his father Rick “The Crusher” Scherr, a legendary slow-pitch softball player.
Speaking on The Masked Men podcast, Strowman said:
“I launched a peanut butter company last year, named in ode to my father Rick ‘The Crusher’ Scherr. It’s called Crusher Nuts.
“We do gourmet peanut butter. There is nothing healthy about it. It’s not going to make you look like me, I’m sorry, but it’s going to make you feel like me; happy, jovial, and loving life.
“I have three flavors out right now, Cookies and Cream, Cereal S’mores, and Crusher Cookie. Stay tuned to new flavors coming out. I have 39 flavors that I can do.”
The Crusher was referred to as “the home run king of softball” in a 1986 LA Times article after a year in which he his 451 home runs.
In his career, it was reported that he had hit over 1,800 home runs making him the “possibly the greatest show-pitch softball player of all-time.”
Strowman is currently in a tag team with Ricochet who have both recently discussed the storm that started with Strowman’s “flippy flopper” tweet after WWE Crown Jewel in 2022.
Cody Rhodes was recently seen at a WWE house show lifting the 385lb Strowman up on his shoulders.
