As per PWInsider, former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz is currently producing a book focusing on his time with the company.
Gewirtz began working with WWE in 1999, before working his way up to the head writer position. Gewirtz left in 2012, but remained a creative consultant for the company until 2015.
Currently the Senior Vice President of Development for Seven Buck Promotions, Gewirtz has played a role in the creation of a number of projects for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, including Young Rock and the Titan Games.
The book is set for a summer 2022 release by Twelve Books.
WWE is currently preparing for the inagrual ‘WWE Day 1’ event, set to air on January 1, 2022. A new report has revealed why Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar is taking place at WWE Day 1 instead of at the bigger Royal Rumble show less than a month later.
