Original WWE Raw Plans Changed For Brock Lesnar?

Backstage details have been revealed for the Brock Lesnar promo that appeared on the February 6 episode of WWE Raw.

In the segment, Lesnar would issue a challenge to Bobby Lashley, carrying a “multi-million dollar contract” in his “five dollar denim jacket”.

Talking about his mindset since being eliminated by Lashley in the Royal Rumble on January 28, Lesnar would set his challenge for Bobby Lashley, bringing out The Almighty.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has reported that the segment was produced by Michael Hayes, who also produced the Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman promo on the same show.

Lesnar’s involvement in the show wasn’t being kept a secret backstage, according to Fightful Select, although he was not listed as being on the show internally.

It was also noted by Fightful Select that the segment was internally listed as a promo for Austin Theory.

This could indicate a change in plans or steps being taken to throw off those who had seen the plans into thinking Theory was involved.
