A WWE Hall of Famer has proposed a “money” match involving Brock Lesnar and a surprise choice of opponent.
With Brock Lesnar facing Cody Rhodes at WWE Backlash on May 6, Teddy Long discussed future plans for Lesnar on the WrestleBinge by Sportskeeda.
Long looked at his suggestion from the perspective of the WWE sale to Endeavor merging the company with UFC, suggesting:
“Hey, let me tell you something that’s not bad (Brock Lesnar vs. Ronda Rousey). That’s not a bad idea.
“Well, with the merger with UFC now, you know what I mean?
“I don’t think this is too high on them, you know what I mean, but that’s money right there.
“She would probably feel better doing that because she is her own playground then. You know what I mean?
“You can get more out there because she is now doing what she knows how to do.”
Ronda Rousey hasn’t wrestled since WrestleMania 39 with recent reports that a planned WWE title change has been placed “on hold” as she recovers from injury.
WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Brian James (Road Dogg) has praised former SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and compared her to Brock Lesnar previously.
