Former Champion Praises Bron Breakker After WWE Title Match Loss WWE

A former WWE Hardcore Champion has assessed the future of Bron Breakker, himself no stranger to main roster titles.

Bron Breakker has been aligned with The Vision since April of last year, and recently faced CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

While that match may have ended in disappointment for Breakker, Paul Heyman would note the continued development of The Vision member.

TNA Wrestling’s Tommy Dreamer has now assessed the future of the WWE star on Busted Open Radio.

Stating that Breakker was “born to be a main eventer”, Dreamer discussed the quality of the WWE star after the match with Punk, saying:

“It was one of the biggest matches of Bron Breakker’s career. He main-evented a show that drew 15,000 sold-out people in Brooklyn.

“And, yes, I know there’s a champion and a challenger, but that challenger was a big part of it. He got every moment. He got… even when things got messed up, he didn’t panic; he showed poise.

“He showed ‘I’m listening, but I’m also… I didn’t just jump right up after the Frankensteiner, I laid there and I waited.’

“That match helped elevate him, and it reminded me of Sting vs. Ric Flair in the forty-five-minute draw of Clash of Champions.

“Sting didn’t win the match that night but, at the end of the day, Sting was born and I thought that Bron Breakker was born to be a main eventer at this moment.

“Everyone has talked about his past and he’s had amazing matches, but not like that. You saw, yes, everything that they’re saying with this guy is going to be that guy. I just thought it was a career-making match for Bron Breakker.”
