TNA’s Joe Hendry has reacted to the WWE NXT’s Brooks Jensen match tease with a CM Punk reference of his own.
The tease came in the form of a video featuring Hendry in the background that Jensen posted on social media.
In the video, which can be seen below, Jensen reflected on his recent eviction from NXT and sent a warning to Shawn Michaels and WWE, saying:
“Shawn Michaels, NXT, WWE, you can throw me out of the building, you can shut down my Twitter, but one way or another, I’m going to have my voice heard. You’ll see.”

Joe Hendry has now responded to the Jensen’s video on Twitter, writing:
“To be fair, last time I was in Chicago I did tell a different Mr Brooks that I wanted to work with him one day.👏 👏”
The Mr Brooks in question is likely CM Punk who was backstage at the Chicago Impact Wrestling tapings in October 2023.
In the previous report, it was noted that “Punk was said to be talking with anyone who wanted to get some time with him, which included ‘key talent’ that he spoke to throughout the taping.”
It was also stated that Punk’s presence didn’t ‘faze any talent’ as they were used to his presence following an earlier visit.
