WWE Star Fires Back At Fan Criticism

WWE Star Fires Back At Fan Criticism WWE

WWE star Brooks Jensen has slapped back at criticism of his current work on NXT which, last night, saw him face Je’Von Evans.

Recently, Jensen has been at odds with NXT management in storyline which has seen him being ‘arrested for trespassing‘ during the June 18 episode.

On the July 16 episode of WWE NXT, Jensen lost to Je’Von Evans, marking his first match since his loss to Oba Femi who retained the NXT North American Championship back in March 2024.

Over on Twitter, a fan was critical of Jensen’s work in WWE NXT, tweeting:

“This Jensen stuff isn’t working for me personally. I don’t get it.”

Jensen would respond to the tweet with a dismissive reply of his own, tweeting:

“Do I let a bum like this dictate my night or do I let the paycheck from WWE dictate my night? 🤷🏻‍♂️”

The discourse between the pair wouldn’t stop there, with the reply from the original fan:

“I mean you still need to improve if you want those paychecks to keep coming. cheers.”

The fan would also reply to this own original tweet, which started a discussion of its own, tweeting:

“Getting butthurt over an “not for me” tweet. I don’t know how these wrestlers will do it if they get called up to the main roster.”

Jensen signed with WWE in August 2021 and made his on-screen debut on NXT 2.0 in September of that year.

Teamed with Josh Briggs, they were the final holders of the WWE NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

That championship would be unified with the NXT Tag Team Championship at the Worlds Collide event in September 2022.
