WWE Affiliate Makes Bold Forbidden Door Prediction For Royal Rumble WWE

A notable WWE partner has predicted that a major NJPW star will make an appearance at Royal Rumble 2023.

Following reports that WWE is happy about surprises planned for the January 28 event, there has been a lot of speculation about possible returns and debuts.

BT Sport, the home of WWE TV in the UK, have shared their ‘wild predictions’ for the upcoming premium live event on Twitter and… well, some of them are definitely wild.

The third prediction on the graphic teased the debut of NJPW star ‘Switchblade’ Jay White. WWE on BT Sport predicted:

“Enter the Switchblade. Jay White has already conquered Japan, next stop is WWE.”

WWE on BT Sport also predicted that Brock Lesnar will eliminate over half the competitors in the men’s Rumble, Ripley will eliminate 10 competitors in the women’s Rumble, Asuka will have a character change and The Rock’s WWE return for Royal Rumble 2023.

White notably dropped his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to Kazuchika Okada at the January 4 Wrestle Kingdom 17 Tokyo Dome show.

The next night at New Year Dash, White challenged Hikuleo to a Loser Leaves Japan match, fuelling speculation that White could soon be WWE-bound.

It is worth noting that White is scheduled to compete at the February 18 NJPW Battle in the Valley event in San Jose, California.

At the NJPW show, White will go one-on-one with AEW’s Eddie Kingston.

Battle in the Valley will feature the in-ring return of Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks), as she challenges for KAIRI’s IWGP Women’s Title.
