WWE Hall Of Famer Reacts To Being ‘Put In His Place’ By AEW Star WWE/AEW

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has reacted to a comment that he was ‘put in his place’ by AEW’s Swerve Strickland.

The suggestion came with an accompanying clip from Busted Open Radio in which Strickland reacts to the WWE term “Premium Live Event”.

In the clip, which can be seen below, Bully Ray tees up Strickland by saying:

“And, you’ll be facing each other at the next Premium Live Event.”

Before Bully Ray could finish his point, Strickland cuts in to say:

“We don’t do PLE’s, we got pay-per-views, man.”

Bully Ray would react by saying to Strickland:

“You call it whatever you want, okay. Pay-per-views, PLEs. Thanks for correcting me.”

An X (formerly Twitter) user would respond to the exchange with a tweet that read:

“Swerve Strickland put Bully Ray in his place. 💀”

Bully Ray would offer his own insight into the reaction to the exchange, replying:

“Dear God…🤣

“Yeah…I really got “put in my place”

“Once again, the nameless, faceless AEW IWC toxic trash rears its ugly head.

“But when ya got nothin, you’ll try to hold onto anything.

“Keep it comin. ✌🏽”

Bully Ray’s reply would see a multitude of comments criticizing him for his response, although there would also be a smattering of support.

Swerve Strickland puts the AEW World Championship on the line at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door against Will Ospreay on June 30, 2024, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
