WWE NXT Star Being Considered For Main Roster Call-Up WWE

Another current WWE NXT star could be in the mix for a potential main roster call-up according to a recent report.

As WWE heads out of WrestleMania 41, it was recently reported that Trick Williams and Lola Vice have been discussed for a main roster call-up.

Cory Hays of Bodyslam has now added a third name to the potential list of NXT stars who may make it to WWE Raw and SmackDown.

In a recent post on Twitter, Hays stated that Tony D’Angelo has been thrown around as a potential call-up.

“The Don of NXT” Tony D’Angelo is a former NXT North American Champion, having defeated Oba Femi in October 2024.

The March 4 episode of NXT saw him lose the title to Shawn Spears after a reign lasting 147 days.

His other accolades include being a former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion (with Stacks Lorenzo) and a Heritage Cup Champion.

Recently, D’Angelo and Stacks have been feuding with Darkstate, with Lorenzo attacking The Don during the match at Stand & Deliver.

The April 22 episode of NXT saw Stacks meet up with Luca Crusifino, with the legal specialist seemingly ‘taken out‘ moments later.

D’Angelo and Stacks will come face to face next week on WWE NXT to discuss Crusifino’s whereabouts.
