WWE has been called out on social media for using older ThunderDome fan footage for last night’s episode of NXT TV, the second at the brand new Capitol Wrestling Center.
Twitter user @jessiethebuckeye posted a video saying that despite the fact she was seen as one of the virtual fans at the Capitol Wrestling Center for NXT last night, she was actually watching AEW Dynamite instead.
Why is WWE using stock footage of old ThunderDome participants in the Capitlo Wrestlng Center lololol I am NOT THERE I am watching #AEWDynamite.

This means that WWE is almost certainly reusing past fan footage from episodes of Raw, SmackDown and PPVs from the ThunderDome, which isn’t actually the worst idea in the world.
Unlike with main roster shows, WWE has not been allowing all fans to register to be a virtual fan as part of the Capitol Wrestling Center NXT shows, and it appears that we now know part of the reason why.
