Carlito has reacted to the Judgment Day seemingly breaking up following two stars turning on other members of the group at WWE SummerSlam.
While it has seemed like the writing was on the wall for a while, the group now appears to be fractured beyond repair after the August 3 premium live event.
The first blow to the group came in the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and champion Liv Morgan.
After helping Morgan to retain her title, Dominik Mysterio kissed Liv and left the arena with her.
Later on in the show, Damian Priest defended his World Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER. At one point in the match, Finn Balor put GUNTHER’s leg on the ropes, breaking a pin and keeping him in the match.
GUNTHER ultimately won the bout and title, following Balor’s assist.
Carlito, who has been a friend of the group since moving to Raw in the WWE Draft, has now taken to his Instagram story to share a photo of the Judgment Day’s hideout.
The post very much has “last episode of a TV show” energy, almost as if Carlito is taking one last look at the den.
Triple H recently addressed another title change which took place at SummerSlam, stating that for him it ‘hit differently’.
