WWE Star Sends Warning To Roster About Future Intentions WWE

The first WWE SmackDown after King & Queen of the Ring has seen Carmelo Hayes send a warning ahead of the show.

The May 31 episode of WWE SmackDown will feature the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes along with Nia Jax and the Queen of the Ring coronation ceremony, as can be seen in the preview video below this news story.

Carmelo Hayes has also made his intentions clear, sharing a message on Twitter that reads:

“Smackdown doesn’t know yet, it’s time to get my chips up.

“#WhatAChampionshipNeeds #Smackdown”

The post, as can be seen below, features Hayes sitting on a locker room bench surrounded by a dart board, a portrait, the NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship.

Hayes reached the quarterfinals of the King of the Ring Tournament, losing to Randy Orton on May 17, 2024.

Orton would lose to Gunther in the Final at King & Queen of the Ring on May 25, 2024 in a match that saw a controversial pin for the win.

Having been called up to the main roster as part of the WWE Draft in 2024, Hayes has reflected on his SmackDown record against some of the brand’s top stars.
