WWE Star Puts Former Tag Team Partner On ‘Hitlist”

The shattered relationship between a former WWE tag team has seen a veteran star added to a “hitlist” of targets.

With The Miz having previously decided he was the one to mentor Carmelo Hayes, the pair formed a tag team called ‘Melo Don’t Miz’.

All this, despite the fact that Hayes wanted to craft a career as a singles run, which saw him purposefully not break up a pin during a WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders match.

With Melo Don’t Miz no more, the pair have crossed paths, with Hayes attacking The Miz on last week’s SmackDown to prevent the veteran from answering Sami Zayn’s United States Championship Open Challenge.

Hayes has now sent a warning that he isn’t done with his former tag team partner, saying that The Miz is on his hit list, tweeting:

“Done jumping thru hoops and hurdles. The first name on the hitlist. The Miz 🎯”

With Hayes clearly intent on being recognized as a singles wrestler, it remains to be seen who else will be on the hit list.

The Miz and Carmelo Hayes are yet to find themselves on opposite sides of the ring since their tag team ended.
