WWE may have failed to snare any accolades at the MTV Awards and it remains unlikely they will receive an Emmy for Raw, but they will be featured at this year’s ESPYs.
ESPN has revealed that a WWE category will be added to this year’s ESPY Awards, with the introduction of a new Best WWE Moment Of The Year award.
There are four nominees – which fans can vote on here – in the running for the inaugural prize:
- Roman Reigns returning to Raw and announcing that his leukemia is in remission
- Becky Lynch beating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the WrestleMania 35 main event
- Kofi Kingston beating Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35
- Ronda Rousey winning the Raw Women’s Title from Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam ’18.
This years ESPY Awards ceremony, hosted by Tracy Morgan, takes place on July 10 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles and will air live on ABC.
