WWE Star’s First Movie Project Revealed WWE

An update has emerged on WWE broadcaster Cathy Kelley’s first movie role, with the film Kelley is set to appear in now revealed.

The WWE backstage interviewer previously took to Twitter on May 26 to reveal that she had landed her first movie role, sharing a photo outside of her trailer on set.

We now know which project Kelley was filming for, with Deadline reporting that the WWE name will be part of the cast for “Karate Ghost”, which entered production in Toronto, Canada.

This martial arts comedy will follow a lonely teen who forms an unlikely bond with the ghost of his late father’s favorite action hero.

Deadline shared the following preview for the movie:

“Set in a town ruled by absurd karate law, the film watches as a lonely teen forms an unlikely bond with the ghost of his late father’s favorite action hero. What begins as a haunted mentorship quickly escalates into a fight for identity, legacy, and redemption.”

The movie will be directed by James Mark, and written by Mark and the late Larry Bain.

Tim Rozon, Colton Gobbo and Jim Belushi were announced as the top stars of the cast, with the article also announcing Michael Jai White, Natalie Zea, comedian Bobby Lee and “WWE on-air personality” Cathy Kelley for the project.

Kelley’s previous acting experience includes an appearance in a single episode of the Netflix TV series Black AF, which aired in 2020.
