Following his release from WWE, Cedric Alexander has teased a reunion with his former faction, all now in AEW.
Alexander was among a number of WWE stars to be released by the company in February 2025, going on to indicate that he would be returning to the ring after his ninety-day non-compete clause expires.
Currently, MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are known as The Hurt Syndicate in AEW, with Alexander being the only member of the WWE’s The Hurt Business to not be in the group.
A recent Instagram Stories post, which can be seen below this news story, seemingly teases a potential direction for the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
In the Instagram Stories post, Alexader shared KY_Figs post of Alexander with the Hurt Syndicate, all draped in AEW gold.
KY_Figs’ original post which Alexander added to his story had the caption:
“It’s time.”
It was recently reported that there were those in AEW who expect “numerous” unnamed individuals to push for the former WWE star to join the company.
In October 2024, AEW’s Swerve Strickland called upon WWE to push Cedric Alexander, noting that the now-former star had been re-signed to a new contract.
During his time in WWE, Alexander also held the Raw Tag Team Championship with Shelton Benjamin.
