WWE has announced that they will be celebrating ‘The Rock Month’ all November in honour of the 25th anniversary of the Great One’s WWE debut.
The Rock, under the name Rocky Maivia, made his WWE debut at the 1996 Survivor Series event, and WWE had originally hoped to bring him in for this year’s event to celebrate the milestone, but WWE will be celebrating Dwayne Johnson with or without him.
The Rock Month will include digital and social content based around the People’s Champion, including a new episode of WWE Best Of, focusing on the Rock’s best WWE moments, that airs on the WWE Network/Peacock this Tuesday (November 2).
WWE posted the announcement of Rock Month on their Twitter, along with the hashtag #Rock25.
